Andrea di Lione
Andrea di Lione (1610–1685) was an Italian painter associated with the Baroque movement. Born in Naples, he was a prominent figure in the Neapolitan art scene, known for his dynamic compositions and vibrant use of color. Di Lione was a pupil of Belisario Corenzio and later influenced by the works of Caravaggio and the Bamboccianti, a group of genre painters. His oeuvre includes religious, mythological, and genre scenes, reflecting the dramatic intensity and realism characteristic of Baroque art.
