Apollonio de Giovanni di Tommaso
Apollonio di Giovanni di Tommaso was an Italian painter born circa 1415 and active until his death in 1465. He was a prominent figure of the early Renaissance period, primarily known for his work in the Florentine school. Apollonio specialized in cassone painting, creating elaborate and decorative chests that were often commissioned for weddings.
