Biography:

Bernardo Bellotto (1720–1780) was an Italian painter known for his contributions to the Baroque movement. He was a prominent landscape and architectural painter, often recognized for his detailed cityscapes and views of urban life. Bellotto was a pupil of Canaletto and adopted a similar style, which he further developed during his travels across Europe, particularly in Poland and Dresden. His works played a significant role in the evolution of landscape painting, influencing future generations of artists. Despite his success, details about his early life and training remain largely unknown.
