Boris Dmitrievich Grigoryev was a Russian artist born on July 11, 1886, in Rybinsk, Russia, and he passed away on February 7, 1939, in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France. Grigoryev was associated with the Russian avant-garde movement and is known for his distinctive style that combined elements of Expressionism and Symbolism. He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg and later became a prominent figure in the Mir Iskusstva (World of Art) group.
