Cornelis Jansz de Heem
Cornelis Jansz de Heem, a Dutch painter, was born in 1631 and died in 1695. He was a prominent figure in the Baroque movement, known for his intricate and vibrant still-life compositions. As the son of the renowned still-life painter Jan Davidsz de Heem, Cornelis continued the family tradition, contributing significantly to the genre with his detailed depictions of flowers, fruits, and luxurious objects.
