Fang Shishu (1692–1751) was a Chinese painter and calligrapher active during the Qing Dynasty. He was associated with the Yangzhou School, a movement known for its innovative and individualistic approach to traditional Chinese painting. Fang's work is characterized by its expressive brushwork and often depicted landscapes and figures, reflecting the literati ideals of his time. He was part of a group of artists who challenged the orthodox styles, contributing to the diversification of Chinese art in the 18th century.
