Fong Chung-Ray, also known as Feng Zhongrui, was born in 1933 in Henan, China, and is a prominent figure in the modern Chinese art movement. He is a Chinese-American artist who became a significant member of the Fifth Moon Group, an influential collective that sought to integrate traditional Chinese painting techniques with Western abstract art.
