Henry Alexander
Henry Alexander (1860–1894) was an American painter known for his meticulous attention to detail and his contributions to the Realism movement. Born in San Francisco, California, Alexander developed a keen interest in capturing the intricacies of everyday life and the burgeoning urban environment of his time. He studied at the San Francisco School of Design and later moved to New York City, where he became associated with the Society of American Artists. Alexander's work often depicted interior scenes with a focus on the play of light and shadow, showcasing his technical prowess.
