Biography:

Julie Hart Beers was an American painter born in 1846 and active until her death in 1921. She was associated with the Realism movement, focusing on landscapes and still lifes that captured the beauty of everyday life. Beers was one of the few women artists of her time to gain recognition, exhibiting her work at prominent venues such as the National Academy of Design and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her contributions helped pave the way for future generations of female artists in the United States. Despite her achievements, details about her early life and training remain largely unknown.
