Marion Mahony Griffin (1871–1961) was an influential American architect and a pioneering figure in the Prairie School movement. She was one of the first licensed female architects in the United States and played a crucial role in the development of architectural design alongside her husband, Walter Burley Griffin. Mahony Griffin is renowned for her exquisite architectural renderings, which significantly contributed to the visual representation and promotion of the Prairie School style. Her collaboration with Frank Lloyd Wright on the design of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo and her work on the planning of Canberra, Australia, underscore her international impact.
