Narcisse Virgile Diaz de la Peña was a French painter born on August 20, 1807, in Bordeaux, and he passed away on November 18, 1876, in Menton. He was a prominent figure in the Romanticism movement, known for his vibrant use of color and expressive landscapes. Diaz de la Peña was associated with the Barbizon School, where he developed a distinctive style that emphasized the beauty of nature and the play of light.
