Orsola Maddalena Caccia (1596–1676) was an Italian Baroque painter known for her still lifes and religious works. Born in the region of Piedmont, she was the daughter of the painter Giovanni Battista Caccia and became one of the few female artists of her time to gain recognition. Caccia's work is characterized by its vibrant colors and intricate detail, reflecting the Baroque emphasis on realism and emotional depth. Despite the challenges faced by women in the art world during the 17th century, she established a successful career and contributed to the visibility of female artists in the Baroque movement. Her legacy continues to be celebrated for its unique perspective and technical skill. Specific details about her training and influences remain largely unknown.
