Richard Wilson
Richard Wilson was an English landscape painter born in 1714 and active until his death in 1782. He is recognized as a key figure in the Romanticism movement, known for his dramatic and emotive landscapes that influenced subsequent generations of artists. Wilson's work often depicted the Welsh countryside, showcasing his deep appreciation for nature and its sublime qualities.
