Sodoma (Giovanni Antonio Bazzi)

Sodoma, born Giovanni Antonio Bazzi (1477–1549), was an Italian painter of the Renaissance known for his vibrant use of color and dynamic compositions. Active primarily in Siena, he was influenced by the works of Raphael and contributed to the development of Mannerism. His notable works include altarpieces and frescoes, with significant projects in the Palazzo Pubblico and the Cathedral of Siena.
