Thomas Lawrence
Thomas Lawrence was a British portrait painter born on April 13, 1769, in Bristol, England, and he passed away on January 7, 1830, in London. He was a leading figure in the Romantic art movement, renowned for his masterful and expressive portraits of prominent figures of his time. Lawrence became a member of the Royal Academy in 1794 and later served as its president from 1820 until his death.
