Wen Jia (1501–1583) was a Chinese painter and calligrapher of the Ming dynasty, known for his contributions to the Wu School of painting. Born in Suzhou, he was the son of the esteemed painter Wen Zhengming, under whose tutelage he developed his artistic skills. Wen Jia's work is characterized by its refined brushwork and elegant compositions, often depicting landscapes and natural scenes. His paintings reflect the literati ideals of the time, emphasizing personal expression and scholarly pursuits.
