Biography:

The Workshop of Fra Filippo Lippi was an influential Italian art studio active during the Renaissance, primarily known for its contributions to painting in the 15th century. Fra Filippo Lippi (1406–1469) was a prominent painter whose work helped to shape the development of Renaissance art, particularly through his innovative use of color and composition. His workshop trained several notable artists, including Sandro Botticelli, who would go on to achieve significant acclaim in their own right. Lippi's emphasis on naturalism and emotional expression in religious subjects marked a departure from the more rigid styles of the preceding Gothic period. The exact number of works produced by the workshop remains unknown, but its legacy is evident in the evolution of Renaissance painting.
