Zhang Xiong 張熊
Zhang Xiong (1803–1886) was a Chinese painter and calligrapher, renowned for his contributions to the Shanghai School of painting during the Qing Dynasty. Born in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, Zhang was a pivotal figure in the development of the Shanghai School, which emphasized a more expressive and individualistic approach to traditional Chinese painting.
