Biography:

Amedeo Modigliani was an Italian painter and sculptor born in 1884 and active until his death in 1920. He is best known for his distinctive portraits and nudes characterized by elongated forms and a unique color palette, which positioned him within the Post-Impressionism movement. Modigliani's work was largely unrecognized during his lifetime, but he gained posthumous fame, becoming a significant figure in modern art. He struggled with poverty and health issues, which ultimately contributed to his early death at the age of 35. His legacy endures through his influence on subsequent generations of artists and the high market value of his works.
