Jan van Goyen

Jan van Goyen was a Dutch painter born in the Netherlands in 1596 and active during the Baroque period until his death in 1656. He is renowned for his landscapes, particularly those depicting the Dutch countryside and river scenes, characterized by a muted color palette and atmospheric effects.
