Neri di Bicci was an Italian painter active during the Renaissance, born in 1418 and passing away in 1492. He was a member of the prominent Florentine artistic community and is known for his contributions to religious painting, particularly altarpieces and devotional works. Neri was the son of the painter Bicci di Lorenzo and continued the family tradition, establishing a successful workshop that produced numerous commissions. His work is characterized by a clear, detailed style and a focus on narrative clarity, which influenced the development of Florentine painting.
