Biography:

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch painter born on March 30, 1853, and he died on July 29, 1890. He is best known for his contributions to the Post-Impressionism movement, characterized by bold colors and expressive brushwork. Despite struggling with mental health issues and experiencing limited commercial success during his lifetime, van Gogh's work has had a profound influence on modern art. Key events in his life include his time in Paris, where he developed his style, and his stay in Arles, where he created some of his most famous works, including "The Starry Night."
